Our client is a leading independent Private Dental Plan provider with a loyal and rapidly growing client base. The business is recognised for deploying industry leading technology platforms and first rate client management, providing practices with full visibility and flexibility unique to the market.

Due to on going growth among existing clients and significant new client enquiries, they are seeking to appoint an ambitious Business Development Manager/Account Manager to manage and develop existing accounts and secure new accounts from a broad range of enquiry sources.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly driven business professional to support, nurture and quickly grow the existing client base from a well-established business base.

The Role.

We are seeking to recruit a talented, motivated and energetic individual recognised for their ability to develop and build relationships with Dental Professionals including Principals and Practice Managers through to Treatment Co-ordinators, Dental Nurses and clerical staff in Dental Practices in a designated geographical area.  

You will not only be responsible for establishing a sales and distribution strategy for your region, you will support your clients in maximising their business, delivering excellent customer outcomes for retaining and growing existing patient numbers.

The BDM is in charge of managing and developing relationships with customers, building long-term relationships and generally retaining those customers for the length of their relationship with the company. As such the BDM is required develop and close new business opportunities as well as maintain those accounts over the long term. Account management duties can frequently include presenting, coaching and training dental practice teams both face to face and increasingly over the medium of Zoom or Teams technology, strategic planning, sales support, product design and marketing support.

Working from home and covering a regional area, you will be expected to spend some time in the field with clients as well as for group and head office meetings, however efficient use of digital client communication has become the business norm. 

Your Experience.

Ideally you will have a proven and highly successful background in a sales role within the Dental Sector, preferably with a working knowledge of business finance/accounting in a practice along with an understanding of NHS contracts and Private Dentistry. Candidates demonstrating successful career progression outside the dental sector will be considered as a full induction and training will be provided to a suitable candidate.

Excellent Microsoft office skills including Excel and CRM skills (preferably Salesforce).
